About the Name
Running Brimfield Awakening requires many trips to the Brimfield Antiques Show. We look forward to those trips because we spend time with our friend, Kerri-Lee Mayland at her home in nearby Avon, CT. Surrounded by her beautiful gardens, it was only natural that they became the stunning backdrops for several of our quilts. Because of this and inspired by KL’s generosity, we decided to create the Avon Block and make it free.
How to Get the Avon Block Free Code
When you sign up for our newsletter, we email you a code to get this quilt block template for free. It is a digital PDF pattern. Print it right at home. Please do not share this download. If your friend would like to sew Avon Blocks, please direct them to our newsletter sign up so they can get their own code. Naturally, not everyone wants to print their own papers. So, if you wish to purchase a set of papers or templates, you can do that, too! You can purchase a small pack (4 blocks), large pack (24 blocks), and a bulk pack (48 blocks).
What is Included in the Avon Block Download?
This is a digital download for the paper template only. Because of that, for Avon Block instructions, please see our blog. Our Avon Block blog post explains the different ways to stitch the blocks together and which methods work best. It is loaded with pictures and plenty of tips + tricks to get you stitching your Avon Blocks in no time!
