The Sparkle EPP Pattern does not contain EPP papers, traceable templates, or acrylic templates. Those items are sold separately. Sparkle EPP is our latest English Paper Piecing design and it contains 5 shapes, all with straight edges. This makes Sparkle beginner friendly 🙂 Your Sparkle block finishes at 12″ and a Sparkle Quilt has 12 blocks in it. (Of course you are welcome to add as many as you want!)
What’s Included with the Sparkle EPP Pattern
Sparkle EPP is currently available as a digital download only. Included are the instructions and fabric requirements for making a Sparkle EPP block and quilt. There are multiple pages of detailed instructions and pictures to help you every step of the way. You will also receive 2 different coloring sheets which you can print out as many times as you need for your own personal use.
Sparkle Acrylic Templates
As we stated above, this digital download does NOT include any templates, papers or a way to trace them. If you wish to trace your own papers on card stock, you will want to purchase our Sparkle EPP window acrylics here. These acrylics allow you to trace both fabric + seam allowance (by using the outside perimeter) as well as your own papers (by tracing the inside perimeter of each shape.)
Sparkle Hexiform Templates
Additionally we carry the Hexiform shapes for Sparkle EPP here. Hexiform is a leave-in template alternative to card stock. It is squishy, almost like a soft interfacing, and stays in your project, saving you lots of time when it comes to removing the papers (because you don’t have to!) Hexiform is currently the only template we have available for Sparkle EPP. We sell it in both bulk packs (to make 12 blocks) and single packs.
Sparkle Duckadilly Fabrics Liberty Tana Lawn Quilt Kit
We are pleased to announce that we have teamed up with Duckadilly Fabrics to bring you the Sparkle EPP Liberty Tana Lawn kit using bespoke Liberty fabric from Duckadilly’s Jewel Box Collection. Sparkle EPP Sew Along
We had such a blast hosting the #SparkleSewAlong on the @brimfieldawakening Instagram account using Duckadilly Fabric’s Sparkle Liberty Fabric kit from from November 2021 – February 2022 !! If you missed our live broadcasts, don’t worry. We recorded almost all of them (thanks, Insta for the 2 that were glitched and didn’t save) each week. So, almost every block we fussy cut is viewable so you can still follow along. Here is what we covered each week focusing on a different block in the 12-block quilt:
- Showed you how we use the Sparkle EPP Window Acrylic Templates to find and trace each motif in that week’s block
- Demonstrated how we trace + cut out all of the pieces
- Showed you how we glue basted the pieces to make the block
The Duckadilly Sparkle Liberty Fabric kit sold out twice, but they still carry the fabrics we used to make our Sparkle EPP quilt if you want to purchase a stack to get going.

PLEASE READ- ABOUT YOUR DIGITAL DOWNLOAD!!!
We have learned a couple of things over the years that will help you in obtaining your digital download from us. Please take the time to read this before you click through with your purchase – we promise it will help you avoid some frustrating problems 🙂
- DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANY FILES FROM YOUR PHONE
- Know where downloads are sent on your laptop – that is where your Sparkle EPP downloads will go. We do not know where this is on your laptop.
- Know which email address you are using to receive digital files from us. You may use one email for your PayPal account and a different email for our website. If you have a “junk email address” you used to create an account with us – that is where Sparkle files just might end up, so please check there if you can find it.
- You are limited to THREE downloads only. This is enough so that should you make a mistake downloading them, you have two more chances to get it right. Please don’t waste them trying to download to/from your phone.
- We are not IT experts. But we want you to be happy. If you can do your part and know where downloads go on your laptop, that will go a long way towards us helping you!
- Sometimes PayPal (who we use to facilitate transactions on our end) will hold up a digital download for up to 36 hours. We have no control over this.
- After your purchase, you will get an email from us saying “Your Brimfield Awakening Order is Now Complete” in the subject of the email. That email contains your digital download links. Please check your junkmail, spam folder, or (if you use gmail) your “all mail” for it. Yes, we know, our emails often come with “warnings” on them to you. We have no control over what your email server thinks is SPAM or dangerous. Sorry!
