The Sewline Fabric Glue Pen is what we use. Glue basting is fast and easy. You’ll find it especially helpful going around those curvy edges of the Brimfield Block. This set includes the pen and one glue stick. You may purchase additional glue refills here.
The Sewline Fabric Glue Pen is easy to use. You hold it just like a pen. The glue stick rubs onto your paper template and looks blue, but dries clear! Want a Ninja Tip? Keep your glue refills in the fridge. When they get cold, they are harder and you don’t waste as much glue! How does that sound? Also, we like to practice the “less is more” method when it comes to glue basting. (Kim say’s this, but in actuality she might not practice what she preaches… but she tries!!) Remember, at the end of the day, you have to remove all those EPP papers and you’ll be glad you attempted “less is more.”
If you would like to make the Brimfield Block Quilt, you can purchase the paper pieces , acrylic templates , and the pattern. Additionally you may opt to create the Brimfield Block Quilt WITH the Center pieces. The paper pieces including the centers are available as well with the center add-on acrylic template.
